adding hdd

Hi All
Im trying to decide hows best to add a hard drive to my 800se
should i just add a plugnplay 2.5 sata
or should i add a external hdd in a caddy through the esata port
Has anybody any advise to offer please

Ive just put 1 inside and its working fine, probaly cheaper too than a caddy?
and no loose wires

I formatted on Laptop first then done the rest via the box

Also added an internal one and with the built in fan the box is staying very cool to the touch.

Yes HDD can be formatted directly from the reciever image. I didnt need to format my drive as it camre from my old 800HD PRO and was already formatted. But i've never had to seperately format the hard drives in PC first yet. Always directly formatted from within the image.

initialisation and filesystem check

the TM800 had all 3 Im sure :err:
its funny, I know Ive said a few times about the Russian image lol but the HDD was seen in that but not in the DBUK image even though I done the initialisation and filesystem check, thats when I decided to remove HDD from Dream this morning and format via the laptop
now all good
