seems to be an issue with a firmware update.

its not my ps3 but someone selling one cos it wont update, was thinking of buying it but dont know what it means, is it hardware failure?

its stuck at 87% by the way, but i read somewhere that if it gets stuck at 70% or more this means that its a fault with the blu-ray drive but i dont know if this is true, if anyone can confirm this?

I would contact Sony. The PS3 is a top bit of kit.... i have taken my x360 apart in the past but wouldn't take my PS3 apart.
Get Sony on the case!

didnt bother buying in the end m8, for future reference how do you fix this?

dont think it had beed fixed from ylod but not 100% sure
