3rd quarter results 2004

I have not had time to analyse, but may interest some of you. Its the results released today for the performance of BSkyB third quarter 2004, which is 1st quarter financial year2004~2005.

I will probably comment more later, but just wanted to beat the newspapers and Zooropa or Digidude who usually put news on before me, lol.

right, i'm not saying anything on the 30percent increases and mega millions profits etc, just remember that 'near 1 billion' turnover is only 3 months!



But i found this interesting-

Total TV homes in the UK - 26,176,000

Sky Digital Primary Subscriptions - 7,417,000

Cable TV Households - 3,880,000

Digital Terrestrial TV Households - 3,451,000

See how that shapes up over time.



--------------Lastly, document shows that ITV paid 10million quid for 'Granada Plus' channel, which they then closed on the day of purchase! Feck!
