Firstly, I fitted a new Samsung Tv today. My previous Toshiba TV allowed me to control the volume using the sky remote. Can I get it to do the same with the Samsung?

Secondly, where can I get a new sky plus remote from? (sick of taking mine upstairs at night)! Thanks.

for the remote to work your tv press

select and red together for 3 secs

power button (tv should go off)
if tv goes off, press select, if not press tv again and repeat only the above step

youll get remotes off ebay for a few quid m8

0600 is the code for samsung tellys, are you holding select and the red button together for 3 seconds, the light on the remote will flash twice, then when you enter 0600 itll flash twice again. ive yet to find a samsung that wont work with the remotes, esp the sky+ ones as they have a slightly larger code database than some of the older normal blue sky remotes

Try looking on sky interactive it will give details of how to do this for you, think its in customer service etc
