16 east eutelsat w2

can anyone give me info on where the sats are positioned, as am struggling to get 16 east, but getting 13 east hotbird, 28 astra with 19.2, but 16 east no way, there was a tree behond mine but dont think thats the prob, as all leave off now, maybe roofline across road, but why would a be getting the others?? any help most appreciated, wondering whether to move the sat up the wall slighty, to see if that helps.

depends on what size dish your using aswell,but if you get 19.2 and 13 it bang on in between,try moving the dish slightly up or down,are you using a decent sat meter,can be very hit and miss without one............

I found that Alsat TV is one of the stronger transponders on 16e.

Even when my dish is blown off the arc, I can still recieve this.

But as above, it does depend on dish size.

If you are trying to get digitalb and your in the UK 80-90 cm will do.

If you are after the feeds then 1m+ is needed, because the power varies.

If you are trying <80cm then you fighting a losing battle.
Remember 13e & 19e are MUCH stronger sats.

80 cm dish

using a 80cm dish(mesh) and as far as the arc is concerned, it was fitted by technician, and all set ok, think the sig. might be to weak, am only in cheshire, will call guy to get it sorted or checked. i first thought it was the tree outside, but no leaves now and didnt effect other sats 19 and 13. cheers for assitance guys!:banana:
