don't really see the point of linking my pc up to the PS3 just so i can stream stuff across. Might as well covert them to MP4 format and burn them if i wanted them on the PS3.

according to some other sites, that means an network error. Try unplugging the power to the modem and doing it again, or leave it a bit.

well ive got to say as much as ive slated the ps3 the dvd upscaling now is by far the best ive seen

haha I just found the option for switching on the upscaler and a load of other options that make absolutly no sense to me what so ever lol.

It's made my porn dvd's even more nasty lol.

Seriously though it's now made my dvd player defunct. My only worry is whether the ps3 can handle being used as a dvd player and will i end up burning it out like the 4 light death on xbox's

Some idiot decided to have fun and see who wets their pants first from the detailed update.

Sure there will be a 2.0 update but this won't probably be until the new year (i'm guessing)
