Just managed to get my TM600 with Ur image "22/12/09" to record to a mounted drive on my local windows comp. with the "LAN" button mount manager.
things you will need
. TM600 with UR image / that's what im using anyway..
. TM/UR formatted USB storage. / i used a 16GB Kingston flash stick
. Windows shared folder / i used a win7 shared folder without password.
plug in usb storage check it's formatted in rear usb port and set as recording drive in options, and there's a "movie" dir on it.
press "LAN" button and go to mounts
these are the settings i used with a usb stick in back usb port.
copy all the settings apart from
IP: "the i.p of windows comp with shared folder"
Dir: "the name of shared folder use same upper/lower case"
User: "the windows pc/user name or whatever name you use to share from"
i've not tested with passworded share or auto share.
now just start a recording as normal...
i've only tested a 20 min recording, but i passed it through videoredo app and it showed 0 errors in .ts
hopefully it works ok for now until UR add an "official" way to do it ;P
p.s once it's started recording you can start watching the .ts file straight away with vlc..
p.p.s
"TM600" in the dir line is a shared folder called TM600 on my windows comp shared directly so it shows on network as \\192.168.1.10\TM600
