Bouquets List Gone : After Scan

After having probs with Glasgow area and all channels gone, I rescanned tonight and it picked up all the channels again. Bouquet was set to 'Leave Current' so I was a bit shocked when I clicked OK on the remot to see no Bouquet list But when I go into the Bouquet editor the Structure of my old Bouquet is listed, i.e. Movies, Sports, Entertainment, Shopping etc, but none of the channels I added to those sections are listed

Have I lost them for good, or is there a way of saving them and getting them all back ? I'm not sure why the bouquets were touched in the first place.

this happened to me ...
make sure you have set your location , then scan again . it solved mine .

This is because your area has upgraded to the new 'UK-wide' Channel map, and every single channel is a completely different TSid and Sid to what they were before.

So none of the listings in your old Bouquets are now present in the new services.xml created by the Scan- hence an empty Bouqets !!

Best bet is to reflash with Virgin+ 3.0 or Commando 12 - apply the latest Update (available here on DWZ) then Scan again, but this time with Bouquet Mode: Create new VM-style bouquets

Or sit with your remote and do it by hand and save them . Takes a bit of time but worth it in the end just to keep the Mrs quiet lol

What Al said, all channels have changed their ID's so the old bouquets are now out of date.

Just happened this morning in Newcastle Area. Took me 20mins to sort mine out as my box is on the home network and Bouquet Wizard on the laptop. All sorted.

you're either going to have to re-create them or find someone to send them to you.

Or, as I also said, let Cydine's VM-style Bouquet creator do the job for you whilst the Scan is taking place. Kill two birds with one stone!

the vm ones confuse me. it doesn't take much

its all there in the scan settings as Al said on the new virgin 3 and commando, just a matter of ftp updates across to tmp folder, saves all the long manual imput, thats why the settings are put in by these guys in the first place, to make it easier, cheers...........joe

Thing is for me, I liked my layout but I cant remember my channel listings and in what order I had them.

If I ftp to the box and pull the bouquet back to the PC, am I able to see the listings if I edit the file ? At least if I can see the old channels and in what order I can put them back manually ?

open ur old bouquet.xml file in a txt editor or wordpad. this will show u the order u had ur channels and u can create a new bouquet using bouquet editor on the dbox.
u can open the bouquet on the dbox using tuxbox commander also

AL, is virgin+ 3.0 or commando 12 better than my image I'm using just now ? I'm using Andromeda 2.0 It runs fine for me, a bit of an old image but I've had no probs with it.

This isn't a fair question to ask somebody as biased as I am!! And it's a shame that Xenafan hasn't carried on compiling his fine images...

All I can say is, try them and see what you think.

m8 of mine got dbox ,has anyone got a new list i could use on his box they could email me?
hes not got a clue and ive not got cable.But i can ftp to his box .
