got me stumped

i used this on 4 wiis now no problems
all 3.1e to begin with.
tried to use on 2.1e it wouldnt run home brew channel yet it at says (this is for 3.3e v1 firmware and below)
anyway i got a game that had 3.0 update on it
then i used the same method and it dont work.

when i press start on wii loader it just restarts.
i have tried different discs with same out come.

has anyone had any similar problem??

did the hack work on and get you the homebrew channel?

you may need a game with V3.2 on and then retry from start doing hack again and install homebrew channel.

homebrew and loader channels there .all normal
except it wont play games its on 3.2 now using wad

run cios_fix and Ios Downgrader v1 now m8.

if games dont work after that reinstall the Cios and backup launcher wads.

ios downgrader puts ios' on u need now. it doesn't downgrade ur system menu version.

cios_fix.wad , same thing. but cios.


sorry for the confusion m8 just had a look at wot i told u lol

its a wad and an app i've included try these, i think u need the internet on.

so if i put the cios fix in my sd and run it using wad manager?it might work

i think it resets all the ios's and cios to the standard 3.2 then you reinstall the cios and backup loader. Dont quote me on that tho

taken of another forum

you can run AnyTitle Deleter 1.0 by tona through the HBC or TP-hack
and go in "system titles" or whatever, you'll see a bunch of IOS, but you'll be missing one of those I mentioned

to add them, you can extract them from a disc .iso, like "Guitar Hero 3" or similar, using "WiiScrubber" and looking in the update partition.
after you obtain them, use wad manager to install them.


missing an IOS in the 30's....make sure you have 30,31, AND 35-37



great news, noobie warior7's advice worked. I extracted the missing ios files from a SSBB iso then added the resulting wad files using wad manager. bingo, everything works...apart from the internet connection. I'll check other posts on that subject though. Good work fellas!

install 3.2e wads.

run cios_fix.wad.

run Ios Installer v1 in homebrew channel (internet required).

re-install waniniko cios 249 final.wad. and Wiiish gamma backup channel.wad via wad manager. Press Home to restart system.

try game.


has starfall installed correctly ? if it has its a good indication that everything else should be Ok.

but I suppose this is still a work in progress for the no0b

u want to send me it??

3.4e is done its a different process and files jon, it's in the softmod stickie how to do it. u probably better going up to 3.4e then going back to 3.2e by the sounds of it.
