oscam on TM600

Trying to install oscam on a Tm600 running IQ image. Its not available from the blue panal and I am not sure where to ftp it to.
Don't need it as server just to read the white card and hopefully update.
Any help lads?

get yourself a E1.tar.gz file then put it in /tmp and do a manual install although the tm600 isnt the best for accepting cams,regards mdt

right I have downloaded this e1-oscam-ymodv18-t19.tar.gz

it has a folder called var, inside that there are two sub folders bin and script

in bin there is a file called oscam
in script there are two files called oscam_cam.sh and oscam-fl_cam.sh

what do I do with them?

Put the tar.gz file into the /tmp folder and then do a manual install through the menu

the cam you have chosen is a modded version by @yuricks and is really used with softcams for opening bulsat/csat ect... try this one, its old and will need the box key in the config... install it via the addons manuall install,regards mdt

sending the file to /tmp
gong into blue panel/addon manager/manual install
push the green button, says installing but does nothing.

Gonna try a UR image and will report back.

In that case oscam will go in var/bin and the other two files will go in var/script but because you are doing it manually I'm not sure if it will show up in the softcam menu,

Also don't forget to chmod 755 the oscam binary and the two script files

thanks wiz but no joy, all transfered over and changed to 755 but not showing up.
Any chance if you have this running you could do an image back-up for me?

I don't have it running m8 sorry,my tm600 has been stuck in the press for ages now lol

If you try running the oscam.sh script through a telnet session does it start?

Just replace the binary and rename it exactly the same as the old one. You will probably need to restart after the date has been acquired. I was able to replace it with build 6089.

The binary for the default emulators are in /etc. The ones installed through the panel are in /var/bin. There are also symlinks to "/etc" in "/var/bin"
