Hey digi.

Cheers for reply.. Must be bug as you say because i have been trying to fix it for ages now and no go.. will give 1.7.3 a try. It can be annoying when you have your timers set up and then the time changes.... grrr many good programs fail to record or record wrong program.

Cheers for the heads up

No worry s fruitball like i said i reported it as a bug but they dont want to admit that there is something wrong, i am not the only one either heard of a couple of others as well with the same problem clean flash of 1.7.3 and its cured again. Must be all that parallel universe crap it may be an hour or 2 out in there timeline but i like my universe with good old GMT and summertime LOL

Yes lol.. Cannot beat gmt! hehe

If you get someone round to buy it: On 10.0° East, everyone's receivers give times suggestive of some other planet's idea of what a day is!

don't set the sync time as transponder time set it to ntp

Just been playing with both vix and blackhole images and have reverted back to 1.7.3 blackhole and there is no problem with time changing... You can only change the time setting as far as i can see in the vix image as there is an option in the menu to change from transponder time to internet time.

Just wanna say thanks to digi as obviously he has done his homework and as digi says they are completly disagreeing that the bug exists... although tried 1.7.4 and 1.7.5 on my friends ultimo and it is doing the same lol.

1.7.3 is an excellent image, must be the most feature packed and stable image i have used on my ultimo yet and im recording,, 3 tuners and no problems whatsoever.

i agree 1.7.4+1.7.5 lots of glitching on recordings and avi files 1.7.3 works much better to much crap on the other two

Yes mate fully agree... The other 2 releases are 2 bloated and although the features are nice the reason we buy satellite receivers with pvr functionallity is so we can watch tv and record stuff and should be able to do that with 3 nim tuners installed without it having a hissy fit. Nothing more annoying when recordings dont work or dont record atall because time has changed. Its like having a car that will work 1 minute and then the gear box dont work atall!
