Where did you find the firmware pack mate? I'm waiting on the fixed Hitachi 79 for a friend but on c4eva speaks site it still says its in testing and i think the fixed one is going to be called LT+ v2.01.

Official release of the iXtreme LT+ v2.0b for Hitachi 79 drives
- Support for XGD3 ixtreme backups using LT-MAX for maximum capacity on standard DVD+R DL discs.
- Support for large capacity DVD+R DL media (no errors when burning)
- bugfix for 8.7Gb backups

Please note that all the Hitachi LT2.0 CFW’s do not support Truncated XGD3 backups and do not support Xbox 1 backups. Xbox 1 originals are fine.

Just checked and the c4eva speaks site as updated now.

It means you have to write xbgd3 disks correctly using ltmax drive and firmware for them To work .......if its truncated i.e. using any other drive that is not ltmax means there is part of the disk missing and the drive burnt as much as it could to disk then closed the session leaving so disk data un written and the full image only part burnt so this firmware wont boot the disk up.....do it right or not at all i think is there message here.
