Why is dm800 pro remote control so slow or unresponsive

So far ive changed batteries still no luck

is it a clone m8? over the years ive seen a few cases, where the IR receiver wasnt sat in the fornt panel properly, so wouldnt receive the signal. theres an opaque window in the front panel, remove the whole front, and check the IR receiverd dome can 'see' out of that window

i had 1 similar to that, and when i took the front cover there was abit of plastic over about 30% of the infra red sensor, i used my dremel to cut off the excess and everything was fine after that! 2 seconds mate to pop the lid off and take the screen out for a look!

I bought a FreeviewHD Smartbox and the sensor on that was pointing downward, popped the lid off and re passioned it been fine since
its happens on a lot of things mate its not uncommon

I had loads of problems with my remote (DM800 Clone). What I found was that the led at the front of the remote needed a little 'pushing'. The red Dream button would light but I couldnt get the thing to register anything. By pushing the led on the front of the remote I must have closed a dry joint or something cos its worked fine ever since. Might be worth a try?
