Heres a 10 min video of an image ive been working on, so that instead of releasing a backup image that may not be set right for everyone, this is the UR code completly DW customised, with a few added extras to make getting the end result (full working EPG, EPG updater, etc etc) as simple as possible

even though this video is 10 mins long, you can go from powering up the box, to having everything setup, and EPG and channel data downloaded and installed and useable in 5 minutes

in the video, its a clean flash via usb, theres no ethernet lead connected, as shown while its booting up, so everything is done via the wifi after setting that up

ive still got some little bits for the epg etc to finish off before its ready, but just thought id show how far we're getting with it as an actual image instead of a backup image

while this will be possible, doing the testing of changing the part of the receiver that deals with the penguin, is very tricky, as it means re-writing the main boot kernel for the receiver, which i accidentally did to one receiver a few weeks back, and became the first person to 100% kill a TM800 beyond repair using only software

maybe when more is known about the different sectors etc of the receiver it could be possibly to easily change it, i know in the source where all of the files etc are located, but untill then, its too risky
