Getting over a girlfriend

Basically guys, me and my gf/ex have split up, we were together 3 years I love her very much but people have told me shes cheated on me and I think she has as its the same nite where she lied to me about where she was n so did the lad!

Anyway, what's the best way to get over her? She has always been in my life for the past 3 years she was my best friend and my first. Dont get me wrong I have the lads and we go out every week and get hammered lol! Im 19 now!

Find another lady and you will forget her in no time

Indeed, I may have the oppurtunity to go away with a few lads to the damn in october but I may also go to zante with my one mate in august and ride every bird I can haha

haha well this is it mate you see! Its making me really depressed tho, If I could get the time out of college and work id go the damn myself!!
 
keep yerself busy pal..
join a gym or sommat , u can do most nights !
if u got a decent pc , play world of warcraft lol
if u get into that , u wont need a life never mind a girl

@adamavfc sorry to hear that mate, take it from me it's one of those things in life that you'll get over naturally as time will do it for you - doesn't help you now mind but not much will if you're that bad, just try your best to do things you enjoy and be around people even if you might not feel like it as at least then you won't be on your own dwelling on it and feeling worse.

Cheers buddy, im looking at the open minded fishy's.

1 minute ill be happy as anything but then ill just collapse and feel like im gna breakdown! I suppose its a part of growing up :(

I know it seems like im preaching but:
You are only 19 and a whole life, many girlfreinds ahead of you.
Go out have some fun and enjoy yourself.
You are too young to settle down !
I may seem like your whole world has fallen apart, but it will get easier with time.
At least you found out now and not years down the line.
So pick yourself up and start again.
Dont dwell on whats happened and move on with your life.
Trust me, been there, done that before you were born and eventually you wil find someone that respects you for who you are as a person.
 
exactly i am sure some people would be over the moon to be single at 19

not me, the mrs tells me what to say.... anyways you have a lifetime a head of you and no commitments :)

oh whatever you dont get get another gf asap that wont help just a few encounters should sort ya
 
Count yourself lucky that you didn't marry the slapper.

Best finding out now that she's putting it about a bit rather than later.

Don't be sad about it, think of it as a lucky escape, and someone else's problem now.

Anyway, best advise for you is to rip the head off it continuously & play the field for a couple of years.
Just remember...slags are there to practise on until you meet a fair maiden.

if you take up WoW you will never get a gf again, before you know it you will be 40 doing a 40 man raid with pants down peeing in a bottle because raid leader dont want afk's lol

Then if you do get a gf after that, she will wonder after 8 months what the smell is and find the fermenting brew you left under your desk.

Best thing m8 get another lady pump it, move on and get another after that. Get a new one but dont mention yout old one or fall for too fast and seem needy.

like sumone said your young get out live a bit and enjoy yourself.

best advice has already been given tbh get over the botch
the sooner you get in your head she was never worth it and move on the better
mine left after 12 years of marriage and 4 kids ( kids live with me ) took a month to get into my head that it ( she ) was not worth the time of day but soon as that happened i was a lot happier got together with my gf about 8 months later been with her for 3 years and never been happier
at 19 you got your whole life ahead of you
 
You need to take your mind off it, so as said above try and keep yourself busy
 
count yourself lucky that you didnt end up marrying someone like that. Could have been worse had you not found out and had kids and all.

Now just take your time and enjoy life esp with the world cup!

Then what you should do is live your life to the full and show her that you are better off without her.

There's no quick way to get over her. Everything on TV, everything on Radio, everything in town, everything everywhere will remind you of her and your life with her and will make you feel awful. The only way to get over her is to give it time. Time is the best healer and the older I get the more I realise it. Just hang on in there
 
like everybody says make the most of your free time m8 you are young free and single again. enjoy it and keep yourself busy. best of look m8.
