Fundown - Check Rights Date (expire 1/3/2010)

Fun went down this morning, did the shani flash update etc, no joy. Checked the rights date in exteep.bin with nagra 4.1, rights date set to expire 1/3/2010. Stuck it a few months ahead working fine now, reckon it will get a few people today.

Rights and expire dates 2461 (1/3/2010) in nagra edit 4.1

Edit: I changed to 2661 (1/3/2011)

changing the dates to 2995 should sort it out, well till N3 comes around

I must be blind but i cant see the date in nagraedit when i load the extemp
anybody point me in the right direction please.

load the image then go down to the standard tier tab (pink 8), you change both right and Expire dates

My fun card has gone down as well, but i used Toxic 6 to make my ext. How do you enter the date into toxic for it to update.

u need to use nagraedit 4.1 and then standard tier (31) and change the expire date and rights date too 29 95

when i tried to use toxic 6 or 7 this morning it made the expiry dates, expire for yesterday, so im guessing toxic is no longer useful.

i used a blank bn11 image and entered all the details and set the tier8 expiry to 2661 (1/3/2011) 2 v+ boxes are back online

itried nagra and changed dates still no joy also using same rom 11 image i am using on my rom11 which is working fine strange like got me beat

Quick explanation, read and save ext eep, open in nag edit, change exp and rights dates. Save as all files then rewrite the ext eep back to fun card as norm in ur prog'r not forgetting to rewrite the funcard flash.

If you have updated the flash before, I assume somewhere on your computer you have a directory with the fun files. If that is true you should have a file called something like "MY EXTEEP.bin" this is the file that you need to read and modify (extend date) with nagraedit 4.1. Once you have done this save the file, do the swap bin hex thing and write the funcard as normal i.e as if you were making a new card with the flash as well (write "MY EXTEEP.HEX" + "MY FLASH.HEX")

Must admit i thought we would be all N3 by now.

Read the ext epp and save it. Open it in Nagra edit. Go to Standard tier. Change begin date and exipire date to 2661.

Save the file. Rename it with a .bin (dot bin) extension. Drag it over SwapBinHex. Write the hex file to external epprom. Flash is the same shani one.

i have always wrote the bin file to my working card. i thought the hex was used to set net id ?
