I got BA 5.0.3 working on my clone by hacking the preinst file during installation...

Extract files from BA ipk file (use 7zip for this), then extract preinst file from control.tar, and edit to remove the bootloader check.

Install BA via telnet then immediately refresh /tmp/ directory on DM, and you will find a new dir with BA install files, copy across the patched preinst file, and it will install without errors

I'm unsuccessfully trying to get Barry Allen to work...
A little help would be more than welcome

- DM800 HD Clone BL74
- originally installed Gemini 4.4

- I copy the Barry Allen files to /tmp
- install. During installation it says that my image's kernel is doesn't contain USB drivers...but that it will install anyway...
- I copied the patched Nabilo to MB_Images
- select that image for installation
- Barry Allen installs it...says that it will restart enigma...that I don't have to worry it will last for 3 minutes.
- after the Enigma restart....nothing. Barry Allen is not even available anymore in the plugins
- Reinstall Barry Allen
- select Nabilo (that is available!) and accept to reboot now in Nabilo
- reboot
- ...Gemini...no Barry Allen Plug-in anymore

The USB stick I'm using is a 256MB....

Flash your box with Nabilo or PLi jade and then install BA. If the box is flashed with Gemini BA will not work.

After having badly crashed my box...I'm finally up & running in Nabilo.
Now it doesn't recognize the USB stick...

Lot's of fun today
