v+ soldering expert needed to get me out of deep doo doo

I have tried to modify a v+ for a m8 but have completely made a mess of the whole chip thing. Not only have I buggered some pads but I have also knackered the track from r2737 to the point marked 2719 used for the duff chip pad fix. On top of that I have managed to completely remove r2737 from the board.

I know find myself with a potentially very expensive mistake when I was only doing it as a favour. Is there anyone out there that could sort this for me at all. I'm willing to pay and would be eternally grateful.

ok the pads for the chip are easy fix

the missing resistor and damaged track a bit more complicated as it goes to a via

u found the missing resistor or know the value of it??

and u will have to trace via to see were it goes on top of board

i could have a look at it but wont be able to gurantee anything until i have seen board in flesh

u might be able to get away with using a fibre glass pencil and scrape till u see some part of via and try soldering it there

were abouts are u??

Thanks for your help with this m8. I'm in essex but am inclined not to touch it anymore (i've caused enough damage!). I am prepared to pay any postage costs and for your time in trying to sort this (it's gotta be cheaper than replacing the whole thing!) if you are prepared look at it. I have the resistor that came off.

that looks repairable enough.

personally id test value of the smd resistor, then use a standard resistor of same value and solder that to remaining pad and whats left of the damaged track, rather than attempting to solder a wire to the smd resistor.

id be willing to take a look at it as a freebie just so i can build up some rep around here.

mowax will be able to backup that im legit, or you can look at sbhacker to see im an admin over there.

iphone camera sucks :(

Box is being returned to original poster tomorrow once ive secured the wires to the resistor as i dont trust the solder alone to hold it in place.

good work but i'd have used a glue gun to keep the wires in place.....talk about lazy......:BLOBBY:...lol

i actually said in my post i was going to secure the wires!

and i forgot i had a glue gun, so thats sorted now
