These are drives taken out of sky+ PVR3 receivers, they have been 'attempted' to be reformatted for use with sky+ receivers, but have failed again within a very short time
i have found however, that they work fine in a PC or in a DM7020 and TM9100 satellite receiver. my IDE-USB adaptor recognises them on the PC, but not on my TM600 satellite receiver, but this is down to the adaptor
ive got 6 of them, they are all formatted in ext3 ready for a satellite receiver (done using a TM9100super) but can be formatted again for use with a PC if you want to do that to them
