thinking of an 800 clone? READ FIRST!!

just saw this on an australian website, thats a quote from an admin on the PLi site after someone complained that the new JADE2 wont work on his box

yup, clones wont work on any image based on cvs later than Aug 08....
you'll have to go to a very old image, or see if you can get your money back...the problem is clones dont have the dreamcrypt card installed inside them., and

we dont support or design our images to run on clones!

not good for some one that got a clone feel sorry for them but its like any thing its the risk you take im sure some one will come up with some thing but for now this will put the clone 800 sales back again also

Is it possible to buy/replace the dreamcrypt card inside my clone for an original one? so that these new images will work.
