It uses evocamd as default, to use mgcamd just delete evocamd from /var/bin and reboot
* Bruteforce option on scanning added
* When creating new timer event DVR Record is now default option
* When viewing EPG yellow button is now reassigned to DVR Record
* Bug when putting into standby seems to have gone, probably due to the camd upgrade
* Enabled new option on settings menu to chose maximum TS file size when recording (files will be split)
* Added full compatability with bouquetter and probably others (dreambox command centre maybe???)

Flashed it on box tonight, have run for 4 hours. Seems very stable so far A1....

image not working great on my dreambox, freezes up quite often and i have to plug it out then roboot.

but........i am using 3 cables that are joined as my cable feed for dreambox, i received brand new ct100 cable in post yesterday so im hoping this will improve things, i have all channels by the way, none missing that i can see.

maybe i will try another image

The new tuner driver doesn't seem to recover from low sig/high BER as well as the old. I have created a copy of DIORJ 0.6 with old tuner driver, this seem to perform better for ppl with signal probs.

Just scanned this image to box everything fine, execpt cannot find prem plus.
If i go to providers list i just get a brief listing of channels such as nopig_142 anyone know which of these is for prem plus. By the way i have the older box not new (tuner). Failing that anyone know the freq.....

Just flashed this and now the db won't respond or show anything other than the green light - is this a bad flash, then?

Sounds like a case for the null modem cable and dreamup!

Make you use a scart and not component!

Yup, I am using a scart cable - what is the defaut network settings for the image? maybe I can get to it that way...

Default is to use dhcp

Bummer - that means Its really time for the null modem mullarky. and that means its time for a USB-serial converter - do they work okay? I've no longer got a serial port on any machine in the house!

USB-Serial will work fine, just make sure you select the correct port.

It's running top notch for me except I can't get the direct recording to work.

I've got a new NAS drive and it's connected to my router. I've got the dreambox connected to an ethernet bridge and I can ftp/telnet to it ok. I've got the SMBFS mount setup through the web interface and I can play a .TS file through File Mode that's on the NAS but I can't figure out how to direct record.

If I press Blue then Start Direct Recording, it says 'Record stopped due to full harddisk. Delete some recordings and try again'.

I know there's almost 300GB available on the NAS so it's not that!

Any ideas? Thanks!

old v new

tried new diorj image 0.6 but found the box had a tendency to freeze, anyone tried wiggys with old driver yet. as i have the older tuner.

Still running original wiggys image and it works fine but it did not have brute force.

Can't find diorj 0.6 with old tuner driver has wiggy posted it yet? is bruteforce included.?
