Win 10 windows 10

Thank you, me too look forward to use of Windows 10, but are still sceptic on driver support issues .

I had a few problems with the drivers a while back, this is what I did to resolve it:

Went to control panel/system/devise manager/right click on the question marks/update driver software/brows my computer/windows old/system 32/

Problem resolved cos all the drivers are still in the old windows directory.

I asked because use of my Terratec sound cards EWS88MT gives a lot of blue-screen in Windows 7. With all kinds of drivers....

They kept it very quiet this time

plenty of download options even for the so called impressive lol

Cheers Idrob. I have just started mine to download.

Of for a game of golf so will leave it running to do it's stuff.

I feedback about the start menu and options so good to see this comment in the announcment

"We heard a lot feedback around icons in Windows 10 and think these new ones are a bit more refined"

Not so good is the known issue
"Wi-Fi connectivity may fail at times due to a known issue. A system reboot is required to recover from this state."
So I will probably run a direct connection for a while.

Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for Windows 7 and Windows 8 users during its first year i dont how true this yet

Windows 7 and 8 users are now able to reserve their free copy of Windows 10

Microsoft has started advertising Windows 10 to users of Windows 7 and 8. The notification window is now popping up for Windows users all around the world and it lets you register for a copy of the free new OS.

Windows 7 and 8 users are now able to reserve their free copy of Windows 10

how to remove the Windows 10 reservation app

you will need to uninstall the Windows Update KB3035583 and that should get rid of the icon.

If you have not had this windows pop up yet, by running GWX.exe in C:\Windows\System32\GWX, this will open the reservation app

Microsoft wants to move as many Windows users to Windows 10 as quickly as possible so that it hits the 1 billion figure that it promoted at Build 2015.

This aggressive maneuvering by Microsoft is a bit unusual but not unexpected, the OS is free and the company does not want to face the same issue with Windows 7 as it did with Windows XP.

Here's how the Windows 10 reservation app works and how to remove it

glad i blocked the update for that crap adware lol

dont need reminding Win 10 is coming fast

easy way to remove the nag

To do this, launch Control Panel, click on Programs > Programs and Features, and in the left side of the screen hit the “View installed updates” section.

Look for KB3035583 in the list, right-click it and hit the remove option. If you don’t want to be bothered again in the future, just hide it and no other notifications will be displayed because the update won’t be installed again on your PC.

Late on Friday, Microsoft rolled out build 10130 to Windows Insiders - just nine days after build 10122 dropped - which saw major stability improvements across the operating system

Today Gabe Aul took to Twitter to announce that build 10134 was even more stable, and could also make it to the Fast Ring. Aul also reiterated that future builds will mostly concentrate on bug fixing and refining, meaning we will probably not see any new features appear in Windows 10 before its July 29 slated release date.

Windows 10 build 10134 could drop this week, bug fixes from here on out

So,,,,,,,,

Would I be better when the time comes, downgrading my Win 10 evaluation copy ( 10125) to Win 7, Activate it ;) and then upgrade to free Win 10.?
