Look at this tackle it's a pure piss take Wigan Vs. Newcastle - Callum McManaman Outrageous Tackle On Massadio Haidara - YouTube
And the Wigan W@nker Dave Whelan defends it, what a tool the nob.
Wigan supremo Dave Whelan says that Callum McManaman's tackle on Massadio Haidara was an 'accident'.
Whelan - who himself saw his career ended by injury - played down the controversy at the DW Stadium.
He said: "The ball was there and McManaman went in for the ball and got the ball, as clear as a whistle, then followed through and they collided,
"He hasn't gone over the ball. That's an accident."
Whelan broke his leg in the 1960 FA Cup final while playing for Blackburn and the injury cut short his career.
Whelan even compared the tackle with his own misfortune: "When I broke my leg in the cup final it was exactly the same type of tackle.
"We both went for the ball. It brought back memories. It ruined my career. I am not going to criticise Norman Deeley.
"These things happen in football. He came over the ball but he didn't do it with the aim of breaking my leg."
What ever Dave we have a young lad just come to the premiership in January and that tackle hes probably ended his career he's ripped his knee Ligaments to bits..... YOU TOOL
