Look at this tackle it's a pure piss take Wigan Vs. Newcastle - Callum McManaman Outrageous Tackle On Massadio Haidara - YouTube

And the Wigan W@nker Dave Whelan defends it, what a tool the nob.

Wigan supremo Dave Whelan says that Callum McManaman's tackle on Massadio Haidara was an 'accident'.

Whelan - who himself saw his career ended by injury - played down the controversy at the DW Stadium.

He said: "The ball was there and McManaman went in for the ball and got the ball, as clear as a whistle, then followed through and they collided,

"He hasn't gone over the ball. That's an accident."

Whelan broke his leg in the 1960 FA Cup final while playing for Blackburn and the injury cut short his career.

Whelan even compared the tackle with his own misfortune: "When I broke my leg in the cup final it was exactly the same type of tackle.

"We both went for the ball. It brought back memories. It ruined my career. I am not going to criticise Norman Deeley.

"These things happen in football. He came over the ball but he didn't do it with the aim of breaking my leg."

What ever Dave we have a young lad just come to the premiership in January and that tackle hes probably ended his career he's ripped his knee Ligaments to bits..... YOU TOOL

Shocking challenge and everyone in the studio said straight red. It makes you cringe every time you see it again. I only hope the kid recovers fully from it and it comes back to bite McManaman on the arse. Someone needs to inform Whelan it was a football match not rugby. He needs to take his pie eating tinted specks off if he thinks that challenge was anything but reckless. : tosser :

Callum McManaman's tackle all be it was wrong but not malicious and was not intentional. He goes in , win's the ball but bangs the lad across the leg. unlike this ;-

Roy Keane ****s Alf-Inge Hålands knee up - YouTube

Utd fans have the memory of a goldfish when doesn't involve them winning. Get of your little red high riding horse and take look at what some of the Utd players have got away with over the years.

and if your from Manchester I will change my avatar pic to me with my Harse out !.

Dont be stupid that tackle was vicious, and just because some other person has made a worse tackle in the past does not make this one alright, even if It was a Newcastle player that made that tackle I would say it was bad, as a football supporter in general and not just NUFC tackles like that should not be part of the game FULL STOP

So think what you like and kiss my hairy @ss good day sir

That was probably the worst tackle seen in the premier league all season and though the ref didn't see it he will face trial by camera and deserve every single game that he get banned for and extra because hes a Wigan player.
Small time club with small time fans who belong in a small time league. even the blue square is to good for Wigan it should be Rymans league.
Even the Chairmans deluded i hope Wigan follow JJB sports and sink.
High horse? The rest of the country use cars mate i think you'll find its just Wigan what still get about on horses.
Born and bread Manchester mate so get your Avi pic changed to the more apt hairy arse where ever your from shot.

markymarky I wouldnt even bite mate he did not even pick up I was a geordie the kid must be glim as fook, I would not even bother replying to his shitee he obviously has no idea what he is talking about mate.

I do like to watch a bit rugby mate and in general most footballer's are a bit soft, but football has more skill involved mate and is a more technical sport :0) you know it's true !!!!

Luke me, Millwall and every team in the premier league have all got one thing in common m8. We all cant wait to see the back of Wigan. Let them take the parachute payment and disappear for good. You could write their history on the back of a stamp with plenty of room to spare. I think they should stick to rugby.:roflmao:

It takes a special kind of dedication to be this retarded. Respect the effort, man.

thanks dude (rolls eyes) Utd , jesus you lot get were pish can't.

No difference

Gotta go, booking tickets for Wembley, you'll not know about the cool, ask a smoggy, they'll tell you..

markymarkey ? pull your pants up and tell us were's the best place to park with you been local and all that :)

Bloody hell.....bad tackle...yes...intentional...no...take a look at it for gods sake,or football will become 'none contact'...the ball was there to be won and he did, whats he to do? change the laws of physics..get a life some of you

can't agree here.
Soccer and Rugby (either code) have the same skill level.
its just rugby union is far more cerebral than soccer.
in soccer, if you see the ball, all you do is go for it, then decide what to do with it.
in union you have to decide, on seeing the ball, if its legal for you to go for it.

people say the soccer off side rule is difficult to understand, quite why is beyond me its not that complicated, (unless you have a footballers brain that is. lol)
try working out how to avoid being off side in a union match! (and not while you are watching it, try it whilst playing)

Harrow or Neasden for parking but if i was you i'd let the train take the strain or fly it works out cheaper and you can have a few jars and enjoy the day

I can't agree more, It's clumsy and is wrong. The tackle on Kone from the fish guy was not at the same pace but all the same , studs up and far far later.

With hand on heart I can guarantee I will not be taking arms against Halsey hehehe ffs ,I still can't get over someone would run the risk of jail over a tackle.
Some of those geordies need to get a life tbh, They pay £50 for a shirt then take it off freezing their buds off ....please explain why ?? and to top it their either 3 stone 1oz pish wet through or a 30 stone mess.

I love my football but still, there's far more important things in my life than getting nicked over some jumped up pansy harse £50,000 numpty who doesnt give a flyer about you or your club.

There is a lot of difference, Perch did not follow through, if you watched it he pulled out.
Unlike the thug McManaman's tackle and if you search it is not the first time he has done this type of thing.. he did it to man city player as well.

Its what you call passion mate we may have no silver to brag about, but we are real football club our stadium has always been packed to the rafters since the 1950's everyone knows there's only a hand full of clubs with real supporters take a look at this table very interesting.

OH NO LOOK WHO'S AT THE BOTTOM 69% LMAO

Wigan has the worst supporters in the league, rock bottom you lot cant even fill a stadium made for the fizzy pop sunday league, you will see ManU Arsenal and Newcastle up there with the best support in the league and always will.

tut tut you can re-search all you like but your club is still shiteee
