Iphone 3Gs 5.1.1 firmware 5.13.04

upgrade to 6.1 through itunes and my baseband upgraded, i jailbreak the phone through evaison only to where i couldn't unlock it to any network with ultra snow

I've reset my phone back to where the baseband is unlockable and im on 5.1.1 with a lot of practice and a few stressful moments lol

is there any way around where i can update but not upgrade my baseband

Cheers for any help
Mark

I got it up and running IOS 6 baseband 5.13.04 with snowbreeze then unlocked the network with ultrasnow but when i connect to iTunes which is the latest version my iPhone 3 GS doesn't show up, it starts iTunes but no syncing my phones being recognized by my comp but not by Itunes

do you get any errors or does it just not show?

Painfully no, it just not there be alot easier if it did

im going to start with the obvious that all people will say
have you tried
1: another usb port
2: another usb cable
3: reinstalling the driver
4: another pc

i forgot to say too.
with the latest itunes the device tab (phone) is now in the top right of the main itunes window.
there doesnt appear to be a menu tree on the left like with old versions

could be a problem with sn0wbreeze then.
try redsn0w to create the custom firmware instead

i've tried build not supported, i've been around the houses upgrading downgrading, keep accidently flashing the baseband to the new baseband then having to upgrade to the ipad baseband then back down

one thing out of this i've got know is to do it quickly

Found this on sinfuliphone

Just for those who have issues with their iDevice not being recognized by iTunes, go to Cydia and install evasi0n 6.x Untether

Sn0wbreeze 2.9.9 worked a treat Thank you

running 6.1 modem 6.15.0, iTunes recognized straight away with no need to install evasion untether 6.1 only had to upgrade it in cydia

unlocked with ultrasn0w working fine

Happy Days Cheers for all your help

the only problem i see is that is has updated your baseband to 06.15.00 (ipad baseband) which you was trying to avoid?
there is a baseband preservation mode for sn0wbreeze to keep your baseband at 5.13.04 which was what you had?

the ipad baseband is fine but you will notice your GPS wont work anymore
you could always downgrade it to 5.13.04 again with redsn0w, which is what you wanted no to do?

i assume i'll have to downgrade the IOS back to 5.1.1 then downgrade baseband then re-use snowbreeze upgrade
As i'm getting this error message
