Here you go guys, not my proggy so thanks to original developer. This little thing is hard to come by.

This will unlock your Dell computer whether it is BIOS or HDD master password.

You need to enter the full Asset number including the "-" for the BIOS and the first ** for the HDD password.

Even works with the dreaded 595B models.

I have used the BIOS generator on the sig. of Dentist for my service tag but the code given does not work.... Could someone please see their way to help a little you are my last resort before the hammer !!! lol

My HP EliteBook 6930p will not let me into the BIOS Admin account and after 3 tries it locks the laptop with NO code given

Hey Guys. I bought a Dell Inspiron N4110 at a garage sale and it has both an hdd password and bios password. For the HDD Password it says "Password Error Code [11405] System Service Tag [8DHZZP1]". For the BIOS it says "Password/Unlock Key" followed by blank space to insert the key and then gives Unlock Key Hint Number 3E8B5E98. My HDD serial number is "5WX2PZAR". I would like some help on how I can remove these passwords even if i have to delete everything. Thanks in advance.

...I've done my homework on this model and can say for certain that this is a tough egg to crack. There are a few "special" things about the 1501, I'm sure those familiar with it are already aware:

1) The Phoenix BIOS is not customized by Dell -- it is basically Generic and similar to Acer models
2) As per above, there is no Grey/White lockout screen, the prompts are blue on black
3) The service tag is only 7 characters...there is NO 4-character "suffix"
4) There's no HDD unlock serial number...the hash/checksum/code provided is a "HDD Master ID"
5) All password inputs accept no more than 8 characters, and it beeps if you try to type more

Can anyone generate a HDD unlock/master code for me? Or does anyone know for certain if this model can even be unlocked? I have full access to the BIOS...my only issue is the forgotten HDD password. Thanks for any reply!!

Yes, after 3 tries the screen displays an 8-digit "HDD Master ID" which is 19925440.

The prompt also changes from "Enter HDD Password" to "Enter HDD Master Password" and I'm given one (1) try to enter something before the laptop locks-up and displays "HDD is now locked!" (with no other code provided). Any thoughts?

Are you able to take the hard drive out and try a new hard drive mate to see if you lets you passed that screen?

my asus laptop is not the problem - it works fine with another hdd!

the pw protection is directly on that dell hdd. it comes from a dell PP31L laptop that i dont own anymore.

i just put the dell hdd into the asus laptop for trying to unlock it

if it helps, i could install the hdd to my desktop pc!?

(btw the data can be lost - don't need them...)
