i notice that another site refuses to acknowledge that the patches even exist, and are activley warning people against them

yet they host patches etc for just about every other model of receiver??

i wonder how long itll be untill they stop softcams, then pull the plug on the whole section?

its the owners of the equipment who lose out, not the forums, and a lot of the members there bought their equipment acting on the advice of the forums team, again. i can see this getting messy in the next 6 months or so

same old,same old, mind wash members and take there money.but this time he has a real big wuzzy bee up his butt over technomate his bread and butter since 2004.he really cant eradicate technomate from the main stream, there for he should just get over his big ego and stop bringing crap to the uk market or its going to be the same over and over.hypes up a so called new wonder box and drops support for last months new wonder box.in the end its always going to be the members that pay and fall for it every time and its never in there best interests.

surely if a*s*t has its members best interests at heart then it would want to keep the tm section as active as possible, the more channels that tm receivers clear then the more tm receivers the sponser will sell. as long as the new patches are tested and safe for use then i cant see any reason for them not to allow phantom patches to be posted. regards mdt

theres a lot of equipment that they dont sell that they offer support for though

its their own members who will pay the price for the politics behind the decision though, and a lot of members bought technomate equipment from the forum on the recommendation of the forum

i guess its just another 'sting' that members who have seen this type of thing many times before there can use to warn others

Of course that's the reason why they vanish all of the posts regarding Technomate. I think -now- it's more obvious than ever.

Point is, that people -old members of that forum- that used to find help, solution, software, etc, for their boxes, they should realise that we are no wellcome at all, even spelling the forbidden word Technomate.

Time to move on, as they did, and join other communities that can and WANT to support our hobby.

I followed a 'breadcrumb trail' of clues and made it here - thanks to certain individuals - no names but you know who you are.
The number of downloads on the new patch appear to be a fraction of what they could / should be.

Yesterday, two other members asked me -by pm- a link for the patch.

I sent 'em last night. This morning there were NO MORE PRIVATE MESSAGES in my folder:Chainsaw:

They have deleted both my incomings-inbox by these people and also my reply-sent messages back to them!!!
