Windows 7 keys Home,Pro & Ultimate

lol...i was just looking at this on ebay....i was thinking of getting the key, but use the activator....

Windows 7 keys can only be used once. But multiple times on the same machine.

Thats only oem keys. Full retail keys can be activated 10 times on any machine. The licence says you must install on only one machine at a time.

Been pulled by ebay. Just use the loader or google RemoveWAT and use that.

but if that were the case, why would all these keys activate and pass wga?

I would say they were issuing the beta keys, which are still valid for a little while longer...?

Beta keys don't work on rtm versions. These are likely stolen or hacked keys from MSDN. If these are working which they appear to be then they must be retail keys.

sounds dodgy!

say if the keys did get blacklisted by ms, couldnt you just turn round to them and say i bought x from x on ebay it was advertised as legit etc,

would they honour you a new key? or perhaps offer you a new one at a much better price?

ms's stance on hooky windows always seemed to give the customers the benefit of the doubt with their "you may not know your using pirated software tell us where you got it from etc" approach.

Thats about right mate, IIRC you've got to send them proof of purchase with the O/S transaction details on it, and the name and address of where you bought it from. Then M$ will send you a genuine O/S, but how much they charge seems to vary.

To all who are worried about the key not working etc, download this loader. All you do is run it as administrator (right click the exe file and click run as admin) and then click install. All should be set within 10 seconds. It's also open source so you can see if there's any nasties in it, but all's clear!

Actual program: Open 7 Activator_11-05-2009.zip
Source (VB2008): Release_11-05-2009.zip

All credit goes to nononsence for creating this.
