Kreon FW back to original FW ?

Hi all.

Just a quick one really.
I have access to these drives in my workshop ( TSScorp DVD-ROM SH-D162D ) but don't have the cash to buy one just yet until pay day :-( so what i wanted to know is, is it possible to dump the factory firmware, then flash with Kreon then back to the factory?

yes, i think i've done this is the past.

I've flashed the drive with the Kreon firmware and then flashed it back to the original firmware and then flashed it to Kreon again when an update came out

I just downloaded the official firmware for the drive rather than trying to dump the original factory firmware
