hi all
i have a cloud ibox 4 wich image can i put on this box is it only
ibox 4 image or can i put ibox 3 or 2 on it.
help please

It's a vu duo clone. So only clone safe duo images. I have posted a backup on here somewhere just search for it.

You can not use ibox images on them.

You will be safe to use VU+ Duo Ferrari Clone V2 images on it though.

i am having problems loading these images for cloud ibox 4 i have always had a dreambox 800 and a sunray i don t know if i am doing sum-think wrong i have tried
all the images you sent me but it won t except it the usb will flash for about 10 seconds and thats it i have down loaded images from the www.magicbox site and they work ok but there not much on them any help will be appreciated thanks

Try another usb stick they can be fussy and make sure you format the sick to fat 32 obviously you need to unrar the image first.
 
Hi all I have had no luck in loading these
Images but when I down load from the magic box site the image I download haves 2 files the vi file and a magic file so why is there 2 file

Ive looked into this and the Magicbox Ibox4 is using a different bootloader to all the other ibox4 boxes out there. Basically you have a clone of a clone and they tried to do something different to avoid the time bomb in the VU+ drivers.

Unfortunately that my mean your stuck with images from the magibox site but there is something you can try.

My backups use the standard vuplus folder for flashing the magibox clones dont.

Rename my vuplus folder to magibox and try reflash. Do this at your own risk ive absolutely no idea of the outcome. If you not keen stick with the images from the magibox site and add the plugins you need yourself.
 
Thanks for that I was thinking of renaming it my self but now you have suggested it
I will give it a go when I get home from work I will keep you posted how I get on

Morning all I trid renaming the folder to magic box and I can now confirm red the box is now stuck with red light,any body know how to jag there is a fix on eBay
But I rather do it myself if I can
