Changing Motorised System's Receiver

I have an 80cm motorised dish controlled by my Openbox S10, it took some setting-up and fine-tuning but works really well, my question is how can I change the receiver for my TM5402HD without starting all over again?

Is there a way to do it so I just have to program in the sats in the new TM box?

I was thinking that maybe I could drive the dish to '0' on the Openbox, then turn it off, change receivers, then start the motorised settings on the TM with the dish already pointing at true south, would that work?

Any help would be appreciated.

If its set up on usals, just add the usals settings to the TM add a channel list and away you go.

Yes it is set up with usals, so once I add the usals settings to my technomate I can just swap them over?

Yes, I would load a channel list and select what ever sat you are going to take the other box off ie 27w etc.
I would connect sat cable after loading everything and selecting sat you want.
Remember to power off before connecting sat cable.

Just changed the receivers over and the new receiver drives the dish to the correct positions.

I do have another issue with the TM which I won't go into here, I have posted it on the TM Community forum.

Lol, you are so right, the TM has multiple issues! It is so annoying because my cheap Chinese openbox performs perfectly, it just can't pick up 27.5W.
