Hi,
I have a DM800se clone with A8P sim (motherboard D11)
Lastest open pli 4 image installed.During the work it lost communication. Only some red(4) leds in the receiver and one green on the tuner nothing on the display.I have just purchased a new power supply
and replaced it.Replaced my sim A8p also, but nothing happens and still have nothing on display.I tried to dreamup to establish communication according to the instructions but I can not connect.Networked HTTP Mode, it doesnt show.

No idea what is wrong. Any help is welcome

try removing tuner see if powers up could try connecting to dcc see if it finds the ip address

I removed tuner, connected box with router and power it, started dreambox control center, it didnt find ip address, "network not ok"

Sorry @alimac if the dream cant't find the ip address, does it mean that its network chip is not working or something else is wrong? What do you think?

you could try netscan or similar see if it shows ip of box could well be hardware issue ie motherboard

I obviously have done something wrong, I managed to connect with dream box control center with dream and I got the ip address and I have the access to telnet and ftp. What do I do next?

flash a new image using that ip address in browser

when i turn on the power supply and at the same time click power button on the front the ip address does not show up on the display. so i am not able to do that trough the browser. can you explain me the steps you would take to do that. thank you.

if box has mini flash button on back press& hold while powering up
or use front power button hold in while powering up till you get ip showing

i tried both ways but nothing happens. it's pitch black, and the blue led light is not working. there are only 4red lights on the motherboard.

If you can connect with DCC why not try flashing with dreamup over network ?

Or better still no network needed use dreamup with a mini usb cable and flash that way !

thought you had ip from box?

When I installed drivers for my win 7, I connected dream box with mini usb and lan cable, I started the dream up, I got this picture. There are no possibilities to enter the ip address in the second field.

When I turn on the box and start the dream up I get the following picture.

After I once again turn off the receiver and start the dream up, I get the same ip addresses, click connect and turn on the dream box, I still have no connection. The dream up does not recognize my dream box, it does not show http mode. There's no way to flash it. I am confused and I really do not know what to do.

So go with flashing with just the usb service cable.
