all links to what you need are also in the video , this works, ive did my iphone 6 plus last night

Here are the downloads you will need, the install code and the instructions and troubleshooting below.

Pangu v1.0.1 Windows – http://dl.pangu.25pp.com/jb/Pangu8_v1.0.1.exe

WinSCP SSH Client – Installation package - Downloading winscp556setup.exe :: WinSCP

Cydia Prep File (Run this code first) – http://cache.saurik.com/debs/cydia-lproj_1.1.12_iphoneos-arm.deb

Cydia.deb File (Run this code last) – http://cache.saurik.com/debs/cydia_1.1.13_iphoneos-arm.deb

NOTE: If you are using a lockscreen passcode, please remove it prior to the installation and make sure you have iTunes installed. Make sure to back up your device first.

Instructions:

1. Plug in your device, I would recommend you update to the latest iOS 8.1 Firmware to enjoy all the fixes and latest firmware.

2. After downloading the files, drag them to your desktop and right click and run the Pangu app icon. Select ‘Run As Administrator’.

3. Uncheck the ‘PP’ icon on the lower left and select the blue button to Jailbreak iOS 8! It may be gray for some, you can still press it.

4. After it finishes, run WinSCP as administrator and locate your iP address of your iPhone in Settings, Wifi, “i”. Enter the iP into the host name on WinSCP

5. For User, enter ‘root’ and for password enter ‘alpine’.

6. Now navigate to the root folder and drag and drop the 2 .deb files into the root of your device.

7. Next press Ctrl + T or ⌘ + T to start an SSH command line session. Navigate to the same folder (using the cd command) where you had copied the deb file.
Now, run these commands in order:’dpkg -i cydia-lproj_1.1.12_iphoneos-arm.deb’ ‘dpkg -i cydia_1.1.13_iphoneos-arm.deb’ (without quotes)

8. Done! You will get errors but all you need to do is reboot your device and you will have Cydia on your springboard.

9. Enjoy your iOS 8 Jailbreak!

Cydia Substrate on iOS 8 has now been updated

this is the 1st release, which for some is a lot of messing around , but its a start , i will update the post as it progressives, and make another post with compatable tweaks

Biffo I have an Iphone 5s 64GB locked to Vodafone, I argued with them about the lock, refused to pay the contract and they blocked my IMEI number,
I saw this post and decided to jailbreak the phone may as well use it as an ipod, now as I was doing it I noticed I had not unchecked the PP so I pulled the usb cable out and started again by restoring with iTunes, now when the jail break had finished I moved on to the second part Number 4 in the instruction, went to setting got the ip number ect but could go no futher, I did notice it had put two icons on my phone, the next part is really weird, a message appeared on my iTunes telling me my phone was unlocked, I have a few sim cards here, giffgaff, Vodafone, and ee all say the name carrier when inserted, the IMEI is still blocked but its unlocked, how could this have happened?

@emarald regarding the unlock I'm unsure mate, once you have the pangu icon on your springboard you click on it and choose to install openshsh, that will allow you root access through wscp, thats why nothing is happening once you have that installed you will be good to go
