Samsung Galaxy S6 copy? Any use or for the bin?

My mother in law has unknowingly managed to get a Chinese clone of the Samsung Galaxy S6.
I had a quick play with it and software wise its pretty poor, it doesn't have the flash memory it says it has etc etc.
The screen is fairly good and obviously it can make calls and can access the internet, however as its a clone the Play Store doesn't work (I think its a hooky Play Store app). I only had a few minutes playing with it but my initial recommendation was to bin it, however I just wondered whether there is any 3rd party support for it - i.e. firmware etc?

You need to find out the make and model..even though it's a copy it will still have a firmware name etc..look in phone settings/about..
Ask where it was purchased from etc.

That's what I thought, however it seems to have Samsung all over it that isn't real?

I kind of thought - remove the fake stuff and get back to a 'Standard' Android phone....?
