i tried this again on my duo, i found it was slow in channel changing, for some reason some channels reamined blank, had to keep restarting cam..also downloaded a weather app, kept crashing to green screen, reverted back to blackhole..however on a plus side, i find that vix images seem to give a much sharper picture...lol,

I have to say I have never had a problem with any Vix image as long as you clean install, this ones probably the best yet.

ViX 2.4-112 NOW ONLINE

This update is largely un-tested therefore would all users please backup their images prior to updating. To update to 111 you will need to enable unstable updates. Menu > Setup > System > Online update > Set allow unstable updates to YES.
If you do not wish to use or risk unstable updates please wait until the stability icon is green for stable again.

All Xtrend receivers have been updated to linux kernel 3.3, although an online update should be ok we strongly advise to re-flash if you expriance any issues.

2.4 Build 112:
enigma2: HelpMenu: fix posible BSOD.
enigma2: fix 3D setting on Vu's.
openwebif: add new ViX setting menu to Menu Panel (still needs work).
picons: update zonka.cc to 2012-05-17
system: merge from PLi 18-05-2012 - this includes Linux 3.3 for ET's.
vix-skins: update transponder info for new PliExtraInfo, fix simple channelselection screen title.

Hi

I cannot get samba server to work. I get the message "please wait whilst feeds are checked" and the box just hangs. I have to reboot. Pressing start service or autostart has no effect. The status is always not running service,

Has anyone got this to work? Please help!

Many thanks
