yes mate your problem sounds nearly identical to mine - however i disconnecting my tm5400 from my tm800 this eveing and all is working great atm. the tm800 does show signal strength about 20% less than the tm5400 but technomate have confirmed that this is a software bug and it is really getting the same signal as the 5400. So atm i dont need to send my box back to them for the tuner but as always when i think i have this box sorted it starts playing up again so fingers crossed !
