I find AONES to be very tempremental i.e they all work fine or not at all depending on the batch ,i always use img burn with verify option as many fail at 52% layer change when verifying but will boot

Try clone-cd with the Aones, I found a big improvement for whatever reason. I was having the 2nd layer failure too with imgburn with DMC4 on every disc, clone-cd burns it fine first time every time, verified with imgburn.
