Relatives ESA has been stopped

Ive been reading this thread am disgusted on the way silverdale been treated.

I just hope I'm never in my bro in laws position God forbid I would dread the thought of going through that turmoil for months possible years it's an awful situation. He paid into the system while working a fell ill long term not his fault. The sister in law works her harris clean off and still pays in and when helps needed woosh the rugs pulled clean from under them by a lying nurse, yes liar because that report is nothing but lies. I dont know how the law of the land lies with this report but they feel so strong that the feel like making a complaint against her it's that bad.
 
These so called "medical experts",can over rule doctors,specialist's and mental health experts,and the dwp take there word above them all. If that's not trying to take away much needed support and funds form those who are most at risk,i don't no what is. The dwp have been after people on PiP/Dla for years now they have gone after ESa claimants. that total ass wipe Ian Duncan smith who started this does not give a toss about the disabled,just another rich tory .
 
I've said along, it takes a wake up call and they all get found out for what they truly are. First lining their own pockets, then Brexit thinking it was a sure fire remain. The people are slowly wakening up and taking more notice. I personally think it's only the tip of the iceberg.

How many MP's live in a 2 up 2 down when retiring ? considering their not on life changing wages they seem to do well in retirement.
 
I've just had a PIP face to face assessment at home today (for mental health reasons)
The person doing the assessment was a physiotherapist???? you couldn't make it up ...

Hope things turn out ok for your brother in law matey...
 
@ukbob so how can a physiotherapist do a 100% accurate assessment on mental health? They cant but what ever they say the DWP take it as the right diagnostic. a physiotherapist wont have a clue in what to look for in mental health cases. If it does not go the way you hope for appeal.
 
@srgberian i think it might be worth getting the media involved. This topic is a hot issue, which newspapers love.

As far as I am aware they are "trained" for this assessment. Years ago it was done by GP's but now to cut cost its done by anyone even paramedics earning extra cash. I wonder if I can do it, I was a member of the St Johns years ago.

As for the Bro in law it seems it's common place to lie. They should be arrested and charged with fraud just the same you would be if caught to be lying.

What qualifications do you need to be a disability assessor?
You may be a nurse, occupational therapist, paramedic or physiotherapist who is looking for a change, for new opportunities, for prospects, and for rewards. You'll: Be a fully qualified healthcare professional. Have a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience (and full registration with HCPC or NMC)
 
And to top it off his DLA to PIP forms have now arrived. I've told him, sh!t in your pants for that one, see how long the interview last
 
No in fareness I wouldn't it was an anger statement but sometimes you only realise the plight of others when your faced with it yourself.


If she got it wrong then fair play or even if the decision was borderline but to blatantly lie the way she did and not 1 or 2 lies page after page you have to feel she's doing it with a hidden agenda probably doesn't like people who claim benefits.

I'd guess that her training for the assessor's job didn't includ a day were their shown how to lie through their back teeth.

At some point she might just swap chairs and I just hope her assessor give her the same crap she dished out.
My brother in law are making a formal complaint against her and after reading what she wrote she will not have a leg to stand on.
The fookin lying bitch.

You could also be a Chiropodist, a Chiropractor, Dietitians and just about anyone with a vaguely medical association, it is a complete farce. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if a Vet's Receptionist qualified for the job.

It won't make much of a difference as that is just about par for the course, plus the assessors are paid bonuses for the number of people they take off of the system, and that is because the DWP set targets for the Assessor companies to meet.
And to prove just how bent the system is............. Remember ATOS................the despised company who could not cope with the DLA contract and handed back the contract with a year to go because they were so far behind and could not cope with the complaints they were receiving............Well, they renamed their self as IAS ( Independent Assessment Services ) and are now serving the Contract for PIP which is the Benefit that replaces DLA. Now, if they were not fit to complete the DLA Contract what makes them able to do the PIP Contract ? Plus, more importantly ( In my mind, anyway ) Who the F**K gave them the PIP Contract ???? Backhanders is the phrase that comes to my mind !!!!
 
And they wonder why Joe public are turning on politicians and governments alike, they think we're on some kind of vendetta against them when the truth is, they've got away with corruption for so long and now their all slowly been found out and they don't like it.

This young lady who interviewed my brother in law lied, no matter which way you look at it if the boot were on their other foot it would be fraud. He and his wife are making a formal complaint against her and want action.
Will they get it ?, I doubt it but good on them for trying. They also have damming evidence to prove it was the case I would do the same. I'm sure my bro in law would be stood in the dock if it were the other way round.
 
The politicians and the media having been turning Joe Public against the Disabled and Poor of this country for years and some of joe public well, they only see the truth of whats really happening when it happens to them or somebody they know.
We have Kids starving in this country during the school holidays due to the fact they are not at school and getting perhaps the only meal of the day they get, (Free school meal). Today my wife is at a local collection point on her day off handing out free packed lunches for under privileged kids that wouldn't be fed today if it wasn't for volunteers like her and her mates arranged and set up and also a certain supermarket in the area that gave 5k towards it for the 6 weeks holidays.

Well as an update:-
my brother in law has collected 20 years of medical evidence and just about torn the interviewers medical examination and report to shreds. In total including evidence a total 65 pages.
I looked over it for them at tea. I'm not sure it will get overturned purely on the way the system works but if it goes to an appeal I'm afraid the lady in question will be made to look a fool.
 
Is there no way you can get a welfare rights officer to represent you at the tribunal i believe there only then allowed to ask you certain questions where you know the answer already

You can have whoever you want with you at a tribunal, but they will expect you to answer any questions asked and whoever is with you can take over if you get stuck answering a question and they will allow them a short summing up at the end.
The true worth of the other person such as an Advocate is in the preparation of how to answer the sort of questions that will be asked and how to include the information that you feel is really important.
