Noob at cable

I am a noob when it comes to cable but I have done it with sat. Where would one begin on the journey using a hacked cable box?

there is many boxes on the market mate

depends what you are looking for

the best box for tinkering has to be any of the dreamboxes

for just getting the channels and epg it has to be the eurovox

for just getting teh channels, slight epg and recording then try the latest incarnation of the starview box
