Also, you may have to use sudo chmod -R 777 /mnt/share/tv as it's a privileged command.

I have just rebooted both the raspberrypi and the duo and now I can see all the files thank you so very much for your persistence in helping me sort this out when i rebooted the raspberry showed up in the network scan and when i pressed ok this time it opened the mount option and called it self publicRASPBERRYPI then asked me for a password and username and I have been able to play a file
