I have recently moved into my property and had the electrician wire the house so it's ready for the alarm system to be installed.
I'm looking for a wired system but have one issue and a few questions.
The issue I have is the electrician forgot to put a cable next to the entrance door for the alarm keypad. I am looking at a simple alarm system with a dialler so that I get a text message if it goes off. I require 5 sensors.
Can someone recommend a wired alarm system but with a wireless keypad maybe? I have been looking at the Texecom system but not sure if a wireless keypad would work with it?
The Texecom system with 5 sensors and dialler would cost me around £200 but want a wireless keypad instead of the wired keypad that comes with it. Texecom any decent?
If I cannot get the wireless keypad, I can put the wired alarm keypad outside the store room (all the alarm cabling meets here) which means I will need to walk down the hallway a little but hoping I don't have to do this.
