I don't know if anyone can help. I'm using a Blade BM7000s and an 80cm motorised dish. The engineer installed all sat's from 1w to 23.5e, but then got bored. BADR 26 is offset slightly to the west, and when I move the dish right two clicks it picks it up fine. But when I hit save the dish just moves back to the original position. Anyone know how to make it save the correct position?

It's the same for 39 Hellas too. I know the dish is big enough because the signal goes from 29-79% as it passes the correct position just before parking.

you have to switch to Diseqc 1.2 and then fine tune the dish to your chosen satellite and then press save, this will give the chosen satellite a numbered position.

Wow, a fast and intelligent response, thank you. I wont be able to play with it till Friday as I am away with work now, but as a noob let me tell you the following.
There are no east and west limits set.
The latitude and longitude have not been set.
The engineer changed the motor control back to usuals once he had fine tuned them (I think).
I understand what you mean about switching and fine tuning and saving, once I have done that do I switch back to usuals or leave it in diseqc 1.2? Thanks for your advice, I hate being the noob in something, and I don't want to grind my lovely new dish against housebrick by mistake.

If the satellite installer has re-aligned the dish and setup using USALS then he should have entered the correct Longitude and Latitude details into the blade already for you, As for the limits best to see how far you can go east and west first before you set them.

If you fine tune a satellite with Diseqc 1.2 and store it then no problem as the box can use both at the same time so all the ones you are happy with using USALS leave as is and any that you feel need fine tuning then set these for Diseqc 1.2 and your good to go, Personally though the Installer should have left you with a system that is fine tuned to USALS on every satellite and then the need for Diseqc 1.2 would have been eliminated. In other words if the dish was spot on with the USALS setup then by fine tuning either east or west on a sat should not gain you anything if it was set right in the first place

Well, it was a cheap quick job, £150 for a 80cm motorised, installed. I think basically they were more interested with what I could with my kit get rather than taking their specialist offering. Most satellites from 1w to 19.2e and 28.2e were sorted before they left, and when I added the others up to 23.5 they were fine on USUALS. The went through the process of tuning to the most powerful channels and tweaking on each of the ones they set up, but it confuses me that they are all still set to USUALS but they appeared to tweak them. I'll be happy if I can add BADR, 39 and 42.

Worked a treat. Think I might struggle to find 39 and 42 though....

my m8 put my motorised dish up and set everything up
he is a road sweeper by trade first 1 hes done he had it up and running in no time
it all confuses me hope you get it sorted m8
