Yes alminac as I said in my 1st post It would be great if someone could point me to a working image that I can try and also check out how the xml files are set up.

cheers manic01 I have loaded the cables.xml file into the tuxbox folder and I get nothing....it's driving me crazy haha

I do notice in my tuner config there is no space to get all my netid I can only get 4106 in and it should be 41060

Should the scan be done with cable scan or a manual complete scan?

I scanned the cable tuner.
WIll take a while as starts at the low end.

Can anyone that is using the sunray sr4 point me to a sim2 image that is known to work with the trial tuner and has the relevant xml files in the correct location.

think you have to use OE1.6 not OE2.0 image for trial tuner to work

Yes I have read that bobby but others seem to be ok with it.
To be honest I am not sure what trial tuner is, I am assuming mine is because that is what i see when I go into tuner config.

Thanks for that bobby I did see this and I will try it, I do want to stick with pli really it sets up nice and easy and everything auto mounts.

yeh I always use gjstrooms images and I look after quite a few DM's for mates etc so PLI on all of them.
But I have tried gstrooms open atv and it is very similar, I am looking for the trial tuner drivers as I dont think they are installed are they?
