I have two sb5100's. One with an Intel flash and the other has an AMD chip. The Intel modem has no issues with blackcat but blackcat never recognises the amd board. Always stating Cannot find manufacturer (Manu 7ff, Part 7fff)....
Both ten pin headers are soldered on the same way and only allow the wire to be connected one way. I even tried two different cables which work fine on the other modem. The amd modem works fine if I program the tsop with a dump from the intel chip.
I just don't understand why blackcat version 1.20 or 1.28 fail to detect the cpu let alone flash chip. I've tried the 3.3v applied to pin 1-9 but nothing. Flashing a 5100 original bootloader through softjtag causes the modem to fail to boot. So now all the led's turn on for one second and then nothing.
Any help would be appreciated.
