I grabbed 25 ZeroDefex Dual Layers from SVP, they arrived this morning and so far I've had 100% failure rate, I've tried to burn 4 discs and all 4 have failed to burn, 1st one got to 75% then failed, 2nd one failed at the layerbreak, 3rd one failed 22% into the burn and the 4th one failed at 99%

Disc details : CMC MAG D03 64

Utter garbage.

What is SVP's policy on returning blank discs?

pmsl, my thoughts exactly mate.

send em back m8.... svp will either refund you or let you choose others.... their return policy is second to none ;-)

Cheers mate.

I recently returned a Pioneer drive and had no probs, was just wondering they had a different system when handling media.

no m8... same system....tell em the discs you purchased are shite and you either require a refund or suitable replacements. Personally I'd pay the little extra and stick to the verbs but its all down to personal preferance at the end of the day. I've been using verbs since day 1 and have never had a single coaster :)

i always go for the cheapest - must be tight, £3.82 for a pack of a AONE you cant say fairer than that !!!

Yes Aone's for me as well about £12.00 for twenty make em 60p a disk.

They're being used on Benq's, Sammy's and Hitachi's without any problems.

yea u will have no problems m8 here the best site around m8 , l always use aone printable from them , no coasters . lm sure they will swap m8

i would try to stay with quality not quantity .if you had a ps/2 then you would no the problems with cheap media ..put more strain on the laser

Maybe I am being silly....but how come we do not have an affiliation with SVP.....as most of our members buy from there (guessing) I am sure they would strike up some sort of deal for us....lol

Im a member of united forums (nzb site) and their members get a small discount with SVP, it only saves me a few pence here & there but its a discount :)

Maybe worth looking into ?

anyone tried to use the lowest postage charge for 10 disc's ?

I think the problem may be my brand new Pioneer 112!

So far, everone of the discs has failed in the 112, I have an older Pioneer 110D and that is burning the discs fine, this is my 2nd Pioneer 112 from SVP, the first one only lasted 2 weeks before it started giving me 100% coasters on all brands of disc.

TBH Pioneer drives have been bad for me the last few months. Had a 110D for ages that was great. then got a 111D that lasted about 2 months (from SVP). Sent that back then got a 112D that i had for around 4 weeks....Phew.....So sent that back then got another 112D that i've had for 2 months and is an iffy drive to say the least.

I also used those zero disks with my 112 drive and they are gash disks man

I must have got lucky lol....purchased a 111D from SVP back in early 2006 when the 360 scene started to get in to full swing for the specific purpose of backing up my 360 games....2 years later and still going strong. Purchased a couple of 112D's early last year for use in a second pc and they're still going strong too. Over all I'm quite impressed with the pioneer drives. I dare say as with most electronics that as time has gone on pioneer have no doubt sourced cheaper components to bring down their manufacturing costs so the later models are probably sub standard to the early models... pity the same cant be said for the early 360 consoles... I wonder exactly how many early models are still alive free of the 3rrod lol

My mate bought a pack none worked on his, they all worked on mine
