Can anyone tell me please, what like is the Xda Orbit, is it any good or not, please advise.

i got one, had the xda 2, then the xda 2i, and now the orbit, happy with it....
Best part of the phone is it has gps built in, use it all the time, ... installed tomtom on it, works like a dream. plus Get all the lastest camera update's here thanks to digital world!!

Some people like it, who fancy new techie gadgets. some people don't like purely because it does'nt have a keypad, and have to use the stick to type. Up to you!!!

Yes GPS is free.

Before I started using it, I thought it'd be a subscription thing as well.

ok cool i have had one for ages, just haven't put any maps on it. i am thinking to put them on now, how much memory does it take up, i think i have a 256mb?

My XDAIIi loaded with TomTom 6 with hundreds of voices and full UK & major roads of Europe takes up roughly 307Mb.

Some of the older TT versions aren't as memory intensive and you can get away with loading the full app on your card.

I can't remember how much space TT5 takes, maybe one of the other guys can assist.

TT6 runs really well with the plus maps and full postcodes.
