where did you get win mobile 2005 for it from??

IO am generally intrigued, as the XDA 2i, is classed as an Alpine model and WM 5, has not been compiled for the 2i.
as the extended rom is different......

Himalaya & Andes
The Himalaya phone is sold as XDA II, MDA II, Qtek 2020 and many other names. The Andes is the updated version that has a 1.3 megapixel camera, sold (among other names) as the XDA IIi.

Yip, I have just found put that mine is an Alpine model...based on it HTC revision

bugger, as others models of the 2i can be upgraded
