The Xbox 360 has outsold the PS3 in Japan for the second week running as Microsoft continues to gather momentum in the Far East.
According to figures released by Media Create, the 360 shifted 13,777 units, compared to the PS3's 8,156.
The Nintendo DS was the highest selling console with 61,242 units sold, followed by the Wii on 29,921 and the PSP on 28,674.
Despite 360 sales being considerably lower than last week, Microsoft's console is showing vast improvements on previous months' sales.
