It was only composite, which I dont think is HD.

The lead oneman suggested is what u want, I've bought a few from amazon not from that supplier though.

720p plays fine it's 1080 it struggles with.

It's Component and is HD just analogue not digital

The difference of the interface is stunning with the component cable and I would recomend it, if like me you have manged to keep the your old egg box alive and want to use it with a modern TV it's worth the Tenner for the cable.

Technical Details
Supports 480p, 720 and 1080i

It has 5 outputs compared to 3.

Do you have one then? was trying to get one for under a fiver all in?

Componant lead actually supports up to 1080i though the xbox hasn't really got the horsepower to payback video at that resolution.
