Hi is anyone out there a WordPress fanatic?
I developed a site for a charity unfortunately the site was hacked into last week all the WordPress files were removed and a scam placed instead of the home page so anyone typing `http://eac.eu.com` were taken to the PayPal login screen where the **??*** no doubt had it set up so they could gain access to the visitors PayPal. All using opensource software freely available with lots of YouTube videos showing **??*** how to set it up to steal money. Fortunately it was discovered very quickly and the site taken down at first until I was able to rebuild it. Ha! Ha! At the moment I have got an 'under maintenance' page posted.
Using an old backup of the site, I should say that the daily backup using WPback plugin up was rendered useless by **??***. However, all appeared to be working except a couple of links from the menu on `http://eac.eu.com/registerjoin-eac/` down the RH column are links to application forms when you try to link on Membership Registration or Member Log instead of going to the correct page you go to the home page. Both pages are there so ????? on the Member registration page the permalink for that page is shown as `http://eac.eu.com/registerjoin-eac/member-registration-2/` if you cut and paste that address it goes to the home page. The same goes for the Member Log-in. However Member section goes to the correct page and yet the permalink address is the same as above but it finds the correct short coded page. I have checked the short code for Member registration and Member Log In and they are correct.
I am going round in circles and hoped that some one would reply 'you daft old git' this is what you have done and this is how you correct it.
